Meghan Markle is said to be focusing on three main things in her life whilst her popularity in the UK hits an all-time low. According to former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond, “intelligent” Meghan knows that she is not very liked in Britain – but her mind is focused on areas elsewhere.
The former BBC royal correspondent told the Mirror: “Meghan is an intelligent woman. I’m sure she is perfectly aware of her extremely low popularity in the UK… I think her eyes are firmly set on their lives in California, their children and her business ventures.”
Meghan is said to be very happy living in California, whilst raising Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, in the US alongside Prince Harry.
Her work for As Ever, and any other commitments on her plate, also remain a top priority in her life.
The 44-year-old, who will celebrate her birthday on Tuesday, travelled back to the UK for the first time since 2022 last month.
Although Harry travelled earlier, Meghan joined her husband later in the week with their children.
Archie and Lilibet had also not visited the UK since the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in early June 2022.
During their trip, the family paid a visit to Highgrove House to meet with King Charles and Queen Camilla.
Not much is known publicly about the meeting, but it is said to have lasted around an hour.
