Princess Beatrice celebrates birthday in Sarah Ferguson and Princess Eugenies absence

Princess Beatrice on Saturday turned 38 amid reports that her mother Sarah Ferguson left for Portugal to support her younger daughter Princess Eugenie following the birth of her third child.

According to GB News, the first child of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson was expected to have a more subdued affair in comparison to last year.

Speaking to the news outlet royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams said this year Beatrice is keeping a low profile.

He said “I would have thought there would be no change.”

He described the current moment as “a very sensitive time” for Beatrice and her sister Princess Eugenie, noting that “their parents are in public disgrace” and that, as royals who carry out no official duties, “it is a time to approach things with great care.”

Notably, Princess Beatrice’s husband Edo Mapelli Mozzi was prominent among thousands of people who commented on Prince Eugenie’s Instagram post announcing the arrival of her third child.

Kate Middleton’s brother, James Middleton, also liked Princess Eugenie’s Instagram post containing her newborn’s picture.
