It’s a “Camp Rock” reunion!

Demi Lovato reunited with her co-stars, The Jonas Brothers, at the premiere of “Camp Rock 3” Monday night.
Lovato and the Jo Bros (Kevin, Joe, and Nick) starred in the first two “Camp Rock” films, “Camp Rock” in 2008 and “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam” in 2010.

The Jonas Brothers are reprising their roles for “Camp Rock 3,” which premieres Aug 13 on the Disney Channel, and fans will be delighted to know that Lovato will also be back for a cameo.
The film series is set at an elite music camp, and in the first film, the shy singer-songwriter Mitchie Torres (Lovato) begins attending while her mom Connie (Maria Canals-Barrera) works as the camp’s cook. As she begins to become her own person at camp, Mitchie meets boy band star Shane Gray (Joe Jonas), member of Connect 3 (with Kevin and Nick playing the other members).

The third film is focusing on a new batch of up-and-coming musicians, with Lovato making a brief appearance as Mitchie (She also executive produced the film, alongside the Jonas Brothers).
PauseRewind spoke with Maria Canals-Barrera last year shortly after she wrapped filming. “It was nostalgic, it was like so on point. The camp looks just like it did. The Jo Bros, you’re going to love seeing the Jo Bros again. They’re so awesome. Lots of surprises. New campers, a wonderful talented group of campers. I was honored to be back,” she said, teasing “lots of surprises.”
“Camp Rock” newcomer Hudson Stone also shared earlier this year the sequel is “nostalgic, musical, [and] thought through.”
“It’s very thorough in the way that it’s been made and all the Easter eggs that I hope people find because it’s so insane. And plenty of nostalgia from the old two movies that you’ll see,” he continued.
“Camp Rock 3” premieres Aug. 13 on Disney Channel and will be streaming the next day on Disney+.
