A one-month programme titled Synergy between Art and Architecture will be organized by Doh Eain, a Non-Profit organization in Yangon, in September.
The programme will explore the connections between art and architecture through the lens of Sense of Place, while looking at creative approaches to culture and heritage conservation. Participants will have opportunities to develop their own ideas and creative work through hands-on activities and practical exploration throughout the programme. All the modules will be delivered at Thanlyin HERitage Centre.
At the end of the programme, participants will receive certificates of completion and have the opportunity to showcase the creative works developed through their learning and practical activities in a final exhibition.
Young people aged 18-35, including artists, architects and anyone with an interest in culture and heritage, are welcome to apply. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted for an interview, and 20 participants will be selected as the final participants of the programme.
Interested applicants can learn more about the programme and its modules through the application form: docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf_enFtNn0UbP0U8YK3oMBc06d82pJJrtPZDHYqQUXm_78D6g/viewform and submit their applications by 23 August. — MT/ZS
