BLACK MOUNTAIN, N.C. (WLOS) — North Carolina Gov. Josh Stein announced during his NC Strong Update on Aug. 20 that Buncombe County has new jobs coming soon.

Stein said that the county is is receiving a $480,000 state grant to help expand health care in Black Mountain. Appalachian Mountain Health will renovate an 8,000-square-foot building for primary care, behavioral health and dental and pharmacy services.
The project is expected to create 48 jobs and bring more than $14 million in investments to the community, Stein said.
