Craig Bellamy has provided an hilarious response to a question about Storm prop Stefano Utoikamanu’s ‘stuck up’ sledge of the Broncos.
Utoikamanu’s comments have definitely livened up grand final week and Bellamy was asked about his star forward’s interesting choice of words.
However, the Storm coach unsurprisingly didn’t reveal too much about what he said to the prop in a cheeky response.

“I didn’t actually hear it, obviously I heard about it but I was surprised. I’ll leave it at that,” Bellamy said at Thursday’s joint press conference with the Broncos at Sydney’s Fan Fest.
“When asked again how his conversations with Utoikamanu went, Bellamy responded with a laugh and said: “I was surprised”.
Brisbane coach Michael Maguire, who coached Utoikamanu at the Tigers, was also asked about the comments.
“My players have their own motivations. They’ve been very dialled in over the last couple of months,’ Maguire revealed.
“We’ve focused a lot more on our selves than anything that goes on around us and I think that’s the reason we are where we are.”
There was another humorous moment during the 20 minute press conference involving Storm five-eighth Cam Munster.
A journalist asked Munster a question which the star playmaker requested to be asked again because he was “dozing off”.

The Broncos have made just the one change from the prelim final win over Brisbane, with Pat Carrigan returning from suspension.
Ezra Mam has been named on the bench in his second game back from a hamstring injury.
Maguire didn’t confirm or deny whether he’ll pull a late switch and start Mam, but he did want to praise the work of the team’s medical staff, revealing he thought both Mam and Reynolds wouldn’t play again in 2025 after suffering hamstring injuries against the Storm in Round 23.
“Firstly I want to rap my staff. When Ezra first did his hamstring along with Reyno in Melbourne, we were told we probably wouldn’t see them again (this season),” Maguire said.
“Ezra will get injected at the right time. We’ve spoken about that during the week.”
