Nathan Gallagher, star of Bravo’s “Below Deck Mediterranean,” has a warrant out for his arrest.
Gallagher was convicted on charges of assault and choking on Tuesday after he failed to appear for his hearing in an Australian court, according to USA Today.
He was first arrested after an alleged domestic violence incident in December 2025 at a Sydney apartment complex and later released on bail and charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, intentionally chok[ing a] person without consent and common assault.
Judge Janine Lacy explained the decision to convict Gallagher and issue the warrant were due to “the serious nature of the offenses” as well as the fact that Gallagher had left the country, per The Sydney Morning Herald.
The alleged victim of the domestic violence was not identified, but Gallagher is named in an Apprehended Violence Application filed on behalf of Gael Cameron, according to records obtained by USA Today. Cameron is Gallagher’s former girlfriend and “Below Deck” co-star, with whom he shared a 1-year-old son, Kayden.
Gallagher and Cameron were set to go to court in that matter the day he missed his hearing. The Daily Mail reported Cameron was at the courthouse but did not speak to reporters.
Last week on Aug. 26, Gallagher addressed the allegations against him in a statement to Rolling Stone, saying, “I don’t believe the public has heard the full story surrounding what happened.”
He continued, “I understand NSW Police have confirmed my arrest in December 2025. What has been publicly reported, however, represents only one side of what was an extremely complicated situation. I have contemporaneous video footage from the night in question, as well as messages and other records, which I believe provide important context and show events that have not been publicly reported. I am willing to provide the relevant footage so that you can make your own assessment of what it shows.”
Gallagher added there are “other matters surrounding the relationship that I have never discussed publicly” related to his and Cameron’s break up, including “previous allegations she made about a former partner,” and “financial matters” related to an apartment in Sydney.
The Irish-born reality star said he has documentation and will “deal with it through the appropriate channels.”
“But I also don’t believe it is fair for one version of events to be presented publicly as though it is the complete story when there is evidence that may materially contradict or provide significant context to that account,” his statement read.
Gallagher and Cameron met on season 9 of “Below Deck,” filmed in summer 2023, and had an on-and-off relationship showcased on the series. Cameron is no longer a main cast member, but has made appearances on the current season, along with her and Gallagher’s son.
In addition to the warrant issued from Australia, Page Six reports that Gallagher is also facing an assault charge from an incident that took place in 2022 in Ireland.
There is a bench warrant for Gallagher stemming from his arrest after he was charged with assaulting another man in Dungloe on Aug. 7, 2022. The warrant was issued in 2025 after Gallagher failed to appear at the Dungloe District Court.
