Emergency services have found two people who went missing at a Canterbury beach this evening.
Police, Fire and Emergency New Zealand and Coastguard NZ were called to Waikuku Beach, about 30km north of Christchurch, about 6.30pm.
Surf Life Saving New Zealand was tasked with helping the search shortly afterwards and
responded with eight surf lifeguards and two jet skis.
