The owner of two missing Auckland dogs is appealing for their return home as the search approaches a second week.

Mya and Kahlaay have been missing since September 2 after running away from a property in Manukau.

The dog’s owner, Giza Galuva’a, said she and her partner had to remove
the dogs from their Wellington home after their property manager requested it.

After one night at her father-in-law’s house, the dogs fled while Galuva’a was on a shopping trip.

“We’re not sure where they are”, she said. “They’re inside dogs, they’re well trained, they’re both females.”
