“A short time later, police received another report of robbery on Taradale Rd where offenders had entered a commercial premises and threatened staff.
“Attendants at the store deterred the offenders, who left in a car.“
Martin said a car had since been found.
The two petrol stations were cordoned off on Monday morning, but reopened later in the day.
“Police understand the recent offending will be of concern to the community,” Martin said.
“We encourage our retail community to prioritise their safety if incidents like this occur, and to activate any emergency procedures they have in place.”
