With the release of the Switch 2 last year, Nintendo announced an upgrade to its storage expansion. Sticking with the microSD standard but increasing to the Express cards for greater speed, it also allows for easy and quick storage increases, but at a slightly higher cost than before.
Well, now could be the time to pick some up if you’ve been holding out, such as the SanDisk 512GB MicroSD Express card, which gets 20% off on Amazon. That means it’s currently $159.99 instead of the usual $199.99, giving you a saving of $40 on the card, which is the lowest price it has been at on the retailer according to price tracking sites.

Why we like this Switch 2 microSD card deal
If you do require some more space on your Switch 2, the microSD Express Card is a rather easy way to do so. It is a rather more expensive method but keeps it simple and easy, and the SanDisk official product even looks rather nice being officially licensed. With that, it offers some great speeds, as it does average out to a rating of 4.9 stars out of 5 from over 40 ratings on Amazon.
As a popular choice of expansion card, it usually is on the more expensive side of things. However, now is the first time it gets a good price drop, according to CamelCamelCamel, as shown in the graph below. Although it is not updated to the current price, the $159.99 is a drop from the usual.
