Voice Media, which includes Radio Kerry and Shannonside / Northern Sound, won a total of 11 awards at last nights national IMRO Awards in Kilkenny.
This includes 4 Gold, 5 Silver and 2 Bronze Awards.
The gold awards are for Short Feature for the Radio Kerry/ Kerry College students for the Words Matter series, for Kaya Flynn in Magazine Programme for Travels through a Kingdom, for Niamh Daly in the Community/Social Action category for the Many Voices, One Kingdom series and Shannonside/ Northern Sound were named Local Station of the Year.
There were Silver awards for Radio Kerry in News Story, Sports Programme, Digital, Competition, and Niamh Daly in the Irish Music Porgramme category for New Moves.
Joe McGill won bronze in the Magazine Programme category for the Saturday supplement, and Radio Kerry took bronze in Local Station of the Year.
