Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are ‘not on the same page’ about a key aspect of their return to the UK, according to reports.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are settling back into British life after moving from Montecito, California, in late August. Their return has not been smooth sailing amid rows with the King over how they should be titled and security concerns forcing the parents to move their children’s school after only two days.

But a new problem could be on the horizon for the Sussexes, according to Heat. The magazine reports the couple are split over where they should spend Christmas. The source claimed: “With the kids in school, they can’t keep bouncing between California and the UK whenever they feel like it, so they’ve got some difficult decisions coming up because they are not on the same page.”

Harry is said to be keen to keep the family in the UK, as the source describes the festive period as one of his favourite times of the year. Meanwhile Meghan is feeling homesick, and is desperate to see her mother, Doria Ragland.

“[Meghan] misses her friends, she misses her day-to-day routine and she really misses her mom,” the source added. “She talks to Doria every day, usually multiple times but it’s not the same as spending every weekend with her.”

Meghan is also reportedly not keen to spend Christmas ‘making small talk’ with the Royal family, and she is also thought to be put off by the idea of waiting around for an invite to Sandringham that never comes.

Despite the divide over Christmas, it appears Meghan is enjoying settling back into British life. She posted a video of Archie and Lilibet playing in some woodland and fishing with Harry on a boat in September, accompanied with a love heart and union jack emoji.

The duo were finally spotted in public earlier this week at The Falkland Arms pub in Great Tew, Oxfordshire, which is close to where the family are thought to be staying.
