Save $140: Amazon’s latest Prime Day sale is now underway, and one deal you won’t want to miss slashes the price of the popular Sonos Beam Gen 2 soundbar to just $359 in both black and white.
You don’t need to enter any discount codes, and there aren’t even any on-screen coupons to clip, either. And unlike many Prime Day deals, this one doesn’t require you to be an Amazon Prime member, either.

Sonos Beam Gen 2
On CNET’s list of the best smart soundbars, the 200-watt Sonos Beam Gen 2 received the award for best smart soundbar for smaller spaces. It can be used to stream radio, podcasts and audiobooks as well as music and TV.
The Dolby Atmos surround sound technology provides a 3D effect, creating a crystal-clear panoramic soundstage that sounds like it’s all around you. Just make sure you have a TV that supports Dolby Atmos and Atmos content. “This compact speaker makes your movies sound huge with its virtual surround capabilities,” said CNET’s home entertainment expert, Ty Pendlebury.
To control your Sonos Beam Gen 2, you can use Wi-Fi to connect the Sonos app, your voice with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, Apple AirPlay 2 and your TV remote. Or simply use the touch controls directly on the soundbar to adjust volume, skip a track, pause music and more.
Assembly is especially easy because the soundbar requires only two cables. Plus, you can use smart Trueplay tuning, along with step-by-step instructions on the Sonos app, to easily set up your Sonos Beam Gen 2.

Sonos deals are as rare as hen’s teeth, and that makes this Sonos Beam Gen 2 deal all the more noteworthy. But if you’re looking to spend a little less, Bose also has a TV soundbar that’s on sale for $199 currently. It normally retails for almost $280, although it only comes in black, so it might not be the most aesthetic option for some homes. It does, however, feature Bluetooth and HDMI-ARC connectivity and comes with a handy remote control in the box.
