A distinguished art historian, she has directed the Foundation since September 2024 and came to Venice with a CV few in Italy can rival. Appointed to head MAN in Nuoro at just 27, she later directed the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rome and MART in Trento and Rovereto, curated more than 200 exhibitions and served on international juries, including that of the Venice Biennale.

Not just a museum, not just a library, not just a home. She calls it a “space of complex coexistence”, where different languages produce unexpected encounters.
