Hadley Green Home in Ludlow was recognised by the Small Business Saturday campaign, which highlights standout small businesses across the UK each year.
Founded by Nicola Twiddy and located at 11 High Street, the shop promotes “sustainable, ethical and thoughtful living” and offers a range of eco-friendly and reusable products.
Hadley Green Home opened its high street shop in August of 2025.
Ms Twiddy said: “Winning this award is such a wonderful achievement for my little shop and I’m incredibly proud to have the hard work and passion behind the shop recognised.
“So much goes into choosing the products we stock and building a business with sustainability and our local community at its heart.
“It’s particularly special to receive this recognition, after only opening the shop a year ago, and to know that what we’re doing is making a difference.”
Hadley Green Home was selected as part of this year’s Nation’s Favourite Business line-up following a nationwide search.
The campaign will spotlight each winning business in the lead-up to Small Business Saturday on December 5.
Michelle Ovens CBE, director of Small Business Saturday UK, said: “Small businesses have always been, and will continue to be, among the nation’s favourite businesses.
“This year’s Nation Favourite Businesses are a true representation of the UK’s most-loved small businesses.
“We know how important small businesses are and the challenges they face, so as we kick off this year’s Small Business Saturday campaign, we’re urging the public to get behind them during the most critical trading quarter of the year.”
Dan Edelman, general manager of UK Merchant Services at American Express, added: “Small businesses bring energy, innovation and character to our high streets and local economies.
“This year’s Nation’s Favourite Businesses are a brilliant showcase of the UK’s entrepreneurial spirit, and we’re delighted to be providing grant funding that will help two of these inspiring businesses invest in their next chapter of growth.”
