Athletics New Zealand is calling for Expressions of Interest from athletes who want to be considered for the Long List for the 2027 Pacific Games.
The Games will be held in Tahiti, French Polynesia, from 24 July to 8 August 2027.
Athletics New Zealand is required to submit a Long List of athletes to the New Zealand Olympic Committee (NZOC) by November 2026. To help with this process and gauge interest, we’re asking all athletes who intend to seek selection for the Games to register through the Expression of Interest form.
How to register
Complete the Pacific Games Expression of Interest form by 5pm on Sunday 15 November 2026.

What happens next
Submitting an Expression of Interest does not guarantee selection. Athletics New Zealand will publish the selection criteria for the 2027 Pacific Games at a later date, and we’ll contact athletes who have registered their interest directly as more information becomes available.
