Samsung’s Galaxy S27 Ultra may look noticeably different from the rear, but its front design could remain almost identical to the S26 Ultra. A new leak from a trusted source reveals the phone’s bezel and camera bump measurements, and the figures are remarkably close to the 2026 model. Samsung is basically refining the front look while reinventing the rear design.

Galaxy S27 Ultra bezels are slimmer, but the camera bump grows
According to Ice Universe, the Galaxy S27 Ultra will feature 1.28mm bezels, which is only slightly slimmer than the S26 Ultra’s 1.32mm bezels. If accurate, the upcoming Samsung flagship has a largely unchanged front profile. In fact, the same source previously claimed an unchanged thickness of 7.9mm, so the device is likely to look and feel very similar on the front. At a rumored weight of 218 grams, it is also only 4 grams heavier.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra already features slim display borders and looks premium in hand. With further cuts in bezel width, the S27 Ultra could build on that design. The expansive 6.9-inch display should feel even more immersive, with less space taken up by the surrounding frame. However, the difference is likely to be subtle, as the rumored bezel reduction is relatively small.

Meanwhile, the same source claims that the Galaxy S27 Ultra‘s camera bump will measure 4.69mm, against the S26 Ultra’s 4.5mm bump. This shouldn’t be noticeable much, although the camera design itself is getting a complete makeover. Samsung is dropping a vertical array in favor of a rectangular slab that runs across the device.
Of course, these details remain unconfirmed, and Samsung could make further changes before the phone launches. The Galaxy S27 Ultra is expected in early 2027, so more leaks should emerge in the coming months to clarify its final specifications.
