The Fiji Airways Men’s National side have secured a 19-all draw with Australia after Iowane Teba scored in the dying seconds of the game.

Australia drew first blood, however they failed to convert it to lead 5-0 in the first half.

Fiji quickly equalised with an unconverted try of their own before Tira Patterson scored in the corner to extend their lead.

Fiji led 12-5 at half time.

Maurice Longbottom marshalled his troops in the second half enabling them to score two consecutive tries.

Fiji were able to contest Australia’s scrum and were rewarded with a penalty.

A quick tap and a dummy from Teba left the Australian defence in sixes and sevens, for him to easily stroll through and dot down under the sticks locking the scores at 19-all after an easy conversion.

In yesterday’s games Fiji won the first 10-0 before going down to Australia 26-14 in their second match.

Today’s game is also a curtain raiser for the Bledisloe Cup between the Wallabies and All Blacks at 4.45pm.
