Pamela Anderson has slammed reports that she is in a ‘fake’ relationship with fellow actor Liam Neeson while accepting an award at a French Film Festival.
Anderson attended the 51st Deauville American Film Festival in Deauville, France on Friday (Saturday AEST), accepting the festival’s Deauville Talent Award.
The Naked Gun actress used her acceptance speech as an opportunity to knock back accusations that she had partaken in a “PR” relationship for publicity with her co-star, Liam Neeson.

”I do not and will never feed into PR stunts, that would be a death sentence,” she said on stage.
“I’m authentically driven. I’m superstitious when it comes to love. And I’m not comfortable sharing any shred of my romantic life.”
The actress continued: ”I know I’ll fall in love again and again on screen. That is my job. If we do it well, you will feel it, a kind of projection. It is the greatest compliment.
“So please think positive. And I appreciate your good wishes. There are no silly games being played. I’m sincere.”

Anderson said she strives to leave behind an “honest legacy” that her family could be proud of.
“Do not mistake my kindness for weakness or my boldness for bitterness,” she said.
“I’m here on this journey, not for money or for fame, but to see what I’m made of in truth, hard work and to leave behind an honest legacy my family can be proud of.”
Rumours about the pair dating started swirling earlier this year, until People Magazine confirmed the stars were together at the end of July.

The article quoted a source as saying the two were “enjoying each other’s company”.
“It’s a budding romance in the early stages. It’s sincere, and it’s clear they’re smitten with each other,” they said.
One month later, a source denied allegations that the pair were dating for publicity.
“Everything between them has been genuine. Neither would ever take part in a publicity stunt,” the source told People at the time.
The pair’s friends and family have weighed in, publicly supporting their relationship since.
