Netflix celebrated the world premiere of Peter Berg’s The Mosquito Bowl tonight during AFI Fest.

On Thursday, Berg and the stars of the WWII sports drama walked the red carpet at TCL Chinese Theater ahead of the film’s Oct. 30 premiere in theaters and Nov. 25 release on Netflix.

In addition to stars Bill Skarsgård, Nicholas Galitzine, Ray Nicholson and Tom Francis, attendees at Thursday’s premiere included Billy Zane, Thora Birch, Tim Matheson and more.

Based on Buzz Bissinger’s 2o22 book The Mosquito Bowl: A Game of Life and Death in World War II, the movie follows the titular game between four top American football players who enlist in the United States Marine Corps after the attack on Pearl Harbor.
