The race for power takes an exciting turn in Rise and Fall season 2 as Gautam Gulati emerges as the new ultimate ruler after a series of strategic decisions, unexpected twists and intense rivalries. With the crown up for grabs, the contestants face crucial choices that put their alliances and equations to the test.

The latest episode begins in the red room, where Jashwanth and Manish are the first to enter. With the challenge demanding intelligence over physical strength, the rulers must carefully decide who deserves a chance to move closer to the throne. Manish and Jashwanth agree that Rishabh could compete against Niharika. However, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Gautam are left to choose between Manish and Jashwanth, ultimately eliminating Jashwanth from the race. Upset by the decision, Jashwanth confronts Priyanka over their earlier understanding, raising questions about their equation.

The tension escalates when Rishabh refuses to support Gautam’s elimination, while Niharika pushes for his name to be considered. After a heated discussion, the contestants reach an agreement that results in Priyanka’s elimination. With Gautam, Rishabh and Manish emerging as the final contenders, the battle for the ultimate ruler’s crown enters its decisive stage.

The final challenge brings a hockey showdown, with every worker costing ₹1 lakh from the prize pot. Gautam chooses Irina, Manish teams up with Shehzad, and Rishabh picks Karan, while Swara takes charge of keeping the score. Armed with shields, the contestants must defend their goalposts while attempting to score against their opponents. The two players who concede the most goals face elimination from the challenge.

Adding another twist, the buzzer gives the rulers the power to swap goalposts and scores, with each contestant required to make two swaps. Played on a slippery, soapy arena, the task tests teamwork, coordination and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.

Gautam and Irina initially take the lead, but Manish’s buzzer move changes the scoreboard in his favour. Following Shehzad’s injury, Sara steps in, while Jashwanth takes over as scorekeeper. Gautam’s first swap leaves the scores level, forcing him to exchange positions with Manish. Rishabh then makes his move against Manish and briefly takes the lead.

As the clock ticks down, Gautam makes a final swap with Rishabh just before time runs out. The calculated move proves decisive, helping Gautam and Irina secure victory. Gautam Gulati is crowned the new ultimate ruler, marking a significant shift in the tower’s power dynamics.

With the crown now his, Gautam announces a new chapter for the tower, welcoming everyone to ‘Gautam City’. While his victory sparks laughter, disbelief and irritation among the contestants, Niharika is particularly upset with Rishabh. She believes her sacrifice went to waste when he failed to capitalise on his opportunity, allowing another alliance to take control.

Gautam’s victory may have settled the immediate battle for the crown, but it also sets the stage for fresh power struggles. As he takes charge of Gautam City, it remains to be seen whether his rivals will unite to challenge his reign or allow him to strengthen his position.
