EL DORADO, Kan. — The Andale Indians didn’t need much time to score, and there was much of it Friday night in their season opener at BG Products Veterans Sports Complex.

Andale scored 1 minute and 53 seconds in on a 16-yard touchdown run by Lane Parthemer and never looked back in a 104-0 victory over the Wildcats.

Quarterback Sam Harp accounted for the Indians’ next four touchdowns, three rushing and a 38-yard pass to Cruz Kaiser, making it 40-0 with 2:07 to play in the opening quarter. Andale matched its first quarter with 40 points in the second quarter for an 80-0 lead. The Indians got second quarter touchdowns from Jrayton Dansel, Jack Horsch, Sam Kuepker, Brayden Spexarth, and Emmett Eck. Eck, Luke Seiler, and Aiden Allaire scored the Indians’ touchdowns in the second half with a running clock.

Andale recorded 417 yards of total offense and held El Dorado to 68 yards. 

Andale (1-0) hosts Wellington in its opener next Friday at 7 p.m. Wellington defeated Colleigate in its season opener, 31-13. Coverage on Andale Radio, the Ad Astra Radio App, and Ad Astra TV begins with the Midway Motors Drive to the Game at 6:30 p.m.
