Melbourne Storm star Tui Kamikamica is set to lead the Fiji Bati at this year’s Pacific Championships.

The forward is desperate to bury the pain of last week’s NRL Grand Final defeat as the Bati chase victories over Papua New Guinea and Cook Islands in the tournament.

Wests Tigers winger Sunia Turuva is the vice-captain of a talented side stocked with NRL experience.

Turuva is joined in the squad by Tigers teammate Jahream Bula and North Queensland flyer Semi Valemei.

Bulldogs young gun Jethro Rinakama is in line for his international debut, having been a member of the Fijian squad last year.

Dolphins star Kurt Donoghoe is set to provide physicality up front alongside Kamikamica and Manly youngster Caleb Navale.

Fiji will play Cook Islands on October 18 in Port Moresby the opening game of the tournament before taking on Papua New Guinea in week three of the competition.
