
Meat Loaf (Barry Jeffries)
Meat Loaf, the iconic rock musician known for his powerful voice and theatrical performances, guest-starred on Glee in Season 2, episode 5, “The Rocky Horror Glee Show.” He played Barry Jeffries, the manager of a local news station who teamed up with Sue Sylvester to create an exposé about the school’s upcoming production of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Meat Loaf’s charismatic presence added flair to the episode. He passed away in January 2022 at the age of 74, leaving behind a legendary music legacy.

Patty Duke (Jan)
The esteemed actress guest-starred on Glee during its fourth season in the season finale titled “All or Nothing,” which aired on May 9, 2013. She portrayed Jan, a jewelry saleswoman involved in a romantic relationship with Meredith Baxter‘s character, Liz. She helps Blaine Anderson (Darren Criss) pick out a ring for Kurt Hummel (Chris Colfer), having dinner with them and explaining how views of queerness have changed since they were young. Jan then proposes to Liz, inspiring Blaine to do the same. She passed away on March 29, 2016, at the age of 69.

Jean Sincere (Ancient Librarian)
Jean Sincere passed away on April 3, 2013, at the age of 93 from natural causes.
Along with playing the role of the librarian on Glee, her notable TV credits also include appearing in single-episode roles in shows like Frasier, iCarly, Malcolm in the Middle, ER, and 7th Heaven. She also voiced Mrs. Hogenson in The Incredibles and played Ruby in Pulse, among her other various roles. RIP.
