Things are about to get dark in the Dales… (Picture: ITV/Metro)
Things in Emmerdale plunge to a seriously dark level next week, as the dangers facing the kids of the village become painfully apparent.
With the Kings, Nicola (Nicola Wheeler), Jimmy (Nick Miles) and Carl (Charlie Joyce) at war with the Tates, Dawn (Olivia Bromley), Joe (Ned Porteous) and Clemmie (Mabel Addison) over Carl’s callous sharing of a private image of Clemmie, the parents become all to aware of how dangerous the online space is.
At Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths) behest, April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) is forced into a sickening situation, while Ray Walters (Joe Absolom) continues to pull Dylan Penders’ (Fred Kettle) strings, Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) is caught between a rock and a hard place, and Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) returns in a bad way.

Nicola and Dawn come to blows (Picture: Danielle Baguley/ITV)
Despite Nicola’s insistence that Carl is sorry for sharing Clemmie’s photo, the police continue to take the issue extremely serious, while Dawn is utterly wracked with guilt when Clemmie admits why she sent the photo in the first place.
When Dawn attempts to talk to Nicola, mother to mother, Nicola’s sheer defensiveness causes things to explode and they end up at each others throats.
Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) lets Robert know that he’s moving back into the flat, asking him to stay with him. While Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) presses Robert to tell Aaron about husband Kev Townsend (Chris Coghill), he bristles with guilt in the face of Aaron’s hope for a fresh start between them.

Ray continues to hold Dylan’s feet to the fire, pressurising him to use his newly acquired driving license to help pay his debt quicker. When Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) suggests a trial shift driving to Hull, Dylan proposes a job to Ray.

Laurel makes a shocking admission to Nicola (Picture: Mark Bruce/ITV)

Interrupted by Rhona, April is wracked with guilt and agrees to a job for Ray, delivering a package off to a client in Hotten.

Victoria is unimpressed (Picture: Danielle Baguley/Mark Bruce/ITV)
Elsewhere, Dawn is frustrated as the lack of support Clemmie’s receiving from the school, and Joe’s suggestion does little but cause more problems and when Robert lies to Aaron about visiting Kev, Victoria is unimpressed, though he’s floored by what Kev has to say.
