In an Instagram update, the 17-year-old actor posted photos from a get-together with Wallace Shawn, who played Dr. John Sturgis.<\/p>\n
Moreover, although he was not in the photo, Armitage also mentioned co-star Ed Begley Jr., who portrayed Dr. Grant Linkletter.<\/p>\n
“Getting to see one of my favorite actors\/people in the world is always a pleasure- we just wish @ed_begley_jr could have been there to complete our happy trio! You are wonderful, Wally Shawn!!” he wrote.<\/p>\n
The post sparked major nostalgia among Young Sheldon fans, with many who couldn\u2019t help but reminisce about the show\u2019s early days.<\/p>\n
