Boots<\/a> is one of the biggest shows on Netflix<\/a> right now.<\/p>\n

The coming-of-age dramedy, inspired by Greg Cope White\u2019s memoir The Pink Marine, follows closeted teen Cameron Cope and his best friend Ray McAffey as they enter Marine Corps boot camp in 1990.<\/p>\n

Despite getting backlash from the Pentagon<\/a>, the show has been a viewership hit, hovering in the Top 10 on Netflix\u2019s Top TV shows ever since its premiere.<\/p>\n

We also know that ahead of the premiere, Sony Pictures Television extended the options on several cast members \u2013 but not all of them. <\/p>\n

Studios frequently extend options to keep a cast secure before a big release. It demonstrates that a studio has confidence in a series, suggesting that there\u2019s a good chance for a second season.<\/p>\n

Although the show hasn\u2019t been officially renewed, we\u2019re looking at which stars\u2019 options got extended for a potential second season.<\/p>\n
