Taylor Swift was able to shake off the negative comments about her dancing by changing up her moves.<\/p>\n

In an interview with the New York Times<\/a> published Sunday, October 26, the 35-year-old pop star\u2019s acclaimed Eras Tour choreographer<\/a>, Mandy Moore, opened up about Swift\u2019s dance journey.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019d gotten a bad rap for a long time about her dancing, so she was really in her head,\u201d Moore, 49, told the outlet. \u201cWe shifted the focus to how movement was already manifesting in her body \u2014 the way she naturally wanted to move.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd then we fine-tuned that: \u2018OK, that looks a little weird with your shoulders,\u2019 or, \u2018Let\u2019s straighten your knee here,’\u201d Moore explained.<\/p>\n

Overall, Moore \u2014 who most recently choreographed the music video for Swift\u2019s new song \u201cThe Fate of Ophelia\u201d \u2014 said she\u2019s enjoyed working with the 14-time Grammy winner<\/a>, complimenting her work ethic.<\/p>\n

\u201cI really admire Taylor\u2019s tenacity. She works so hard. Whatever I was putting down, she was picking up,\u201d Moore remarked. \u201cAnd she\u2019s very clear about what she wants, which I love. I find I can\u2019t create unless I have some parameters. The \u2018do whatever you want\u2019 thing, for me, it just feels like chaos.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for Swift, she previously raved about Moore, telling Time Magazine<\/a> in 2023 that the three-time Emmy Award-winning choreographer \u201ccompletely changed my relationship to choreography, and somehow got into my brain and figured out exactly how I would think about things.\u201d<\/p>\n
