Tamera Mowry-Housley<\/a> has been busy. She recently reprised her role of Gethsemane for \u201cHaunted Harmony Mysteries: Buried at C<\/a>,\u201d which premiered on the Hallmark Channel<\/a> on October 12. Her Christmas movie, \u201cTidings for the Season,\u201d will co-star B.J. Britt<\/a> and is part of the 2025 Holiday lineup. <\/p>\n

But for those who already watched \u201cBuried at C\u201d and don\u2019t want to wait until November 16th for \u201cTidings for the Season,\u201d she\u2019s got another exciting project. Just in time for the holiday season, the show \u201cBaked With Love: Holiday<\/a>.\u201d The baking show sees 10 pairs of home bakers compete with their own family recipes. Tamera found that working on an unscripted show isn\u2019t that much different from the other characters she brings to life.<\/p>\n

Tamera Mowry-Housley Balances Unscripted TV and Authenticity<\/p>\n

Tamera is no stranger to unscripted material, as she co-hosted \u201cThe Real\u201d for seven years. But she acknowledges that, while she brings something different to each genre, she also always makes sure a part of herself shines through.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t have to memorize lines, but I do have to memorize moments,\u201d she told Popternative<\/a>. \u201cLike, I have to memorize which week\u2019s theme we\u2019re going to be focusing on. When I\u2019m going to come in, and what I want to get out of the contestants. But I will say, the one thing that\u2019s the same is I always want to \u2014 even when you\u2019re acting \u2014 you always want to bring a little bit of yourself to the role.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tamera Mowry-Housley Reveals Her Mother\u2019s Key to Embracing Individuality as a Twin<\/p>\n

The \u201cScouting for Christmas<\/a>\u201d star and her twin sister, Tia Mowry<\/a>, were extremely close for much of their lives, and often took roles in the same projects. Tamera referenced the valuable piece of advice her mother used to say to them growing up. <\/p>\n

\u201cMy mom always said that, being a twin, even though we look alike, we are different, and there\u2019s something that makes you unique,\u201d she said. \u201cSo bringing yourself always brings that uniqueness. Even though I\u2019m a twin, we\u2019re uniquely different.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you bring that, that is what makes the show,\u201d she continued. <\/p>\n

\u201cI really love people, I love people,\u201d she added. \u201cI love hearing their stories, I love hearing what motivates them. So, like I would bring a little bit of myself to the role, I would bring myself to hosting \u2018Baked With Love.\u2019 So when you see me groing around and speaking with the pairs, most of the time I\u2019m literally just listening and engaging.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tamera Mowry Lauds Judges\u2019 Kindness, Honesty on New Hallmark Show<\/p>\n

Tamera previously hosted two other baking shows: \u201cBaker\u2019s Dozen\u201d and the \u201cDr. Seuss Baking Challenge.\u201d She was happy to be hosting \u201cBaked With Love<\/a>\u201d and not judging, as the dishes made were so personal. She noted being impressed by judges Anna Haugh and Vaughn Vreeland\u2019s ability to be sensitive to that while remaining honest.<\/p>\n

They \u201cwere so beautiful in their judging, and I say that because, when you\u2019re getting critiqued, especially with a family recipe, it\u2019s vulnerable, and the judges knew that,\u201d she told EntertainmentNow<\/a>. \u201cAt the same time, they couldn\u2019t be fake about it.\u201d<\/p>\n
