The real \u201cMadeline\u201d is speaking out after Lily Allen alluded to estranged husband David Harbour\u2019s affair<\/a> in her album West End Girl.<\/p>\n

In the bombshell album, which was released on October 24, Allen chronicles that late 2024 downfall of her marriage to the Stranger Things actor, whom she wed in 2020<\/a>, and hints that jealousy, infidelity, and a poorly-defined open marriage led to their split.<\/p>\n

In a song titled \u201cMadeline,\u201d Allen sings about an \u201carrangement\u201d with her partner to sleep with other people but makes it clear that their rules were broken when her partner began a sexual relationship with a woman named Madeline. \u201cWe had an arrangement \/ Be discreet and don\u2019t be blatant \/ And there had to be payment \/ It had to be with strangers \/ But you\u2019re not a stranger, Madeline,\u201d she sings.<\/p>\n

After the track was released, a woman came forward claiming she had a fling with Harbour, 50, during his marriage to Allen, 40.<\/p>\n

Who Is Madeline From Lily Allen\u2019s Album?<\/p>\n

Madeline is allegedly written about Natalie Tippett, a 34-year-old costume designer from New Orleans, who had a sexual relationship with Harbour before his separation from Allen.<\/p>\n

Tippett came forward in an interview with the Daily Mail<\/a>, saying, \u201cOf course I\u2019ve heard the song.\u201d Tippett seemingly met Harbour while working as a costume designer on the set of Netflix film We Have a Ghost, which was filmed in 2021 in New Orleans, where Tippett lives. Their fling allegedly began soon after meeting and continued back home after filming wrapped.<\/p>\n

Tippett made her message to Allen and her fans clear, telling the Daily Mail that she was reluctant to go into details about her relationship with Harbour. \u201cI have a family and things to protect. I have a two-and-a-half-year-old daughter, and I understand this is going on,\u201d she said. \u201cIt\u2019s a little bit scary for me.\u201d<\/p>\n

The outro of \u201cMadeline\u201d appears to recount a text message from the woman Allen\u2019s partner was sleeping with. \u201cI hate that you\u2019re in so much pain right now,\u201d Allen sings. \u201cI really don\u2019t wanna be the cause of any upset \/ He told me that you were aware this was going on and that he had your full consent \/ If he\u2019s lying about that, then please let me know \/ Because I have my own feelings about dishonesty \/ Lies are not something that I wanna get caught up in \/ You can reach out to me any time, by the way \/ If you need any more details or you just need to vent or anything \/ Love and light, Madeline.\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked about the lyrics, Tippett said that she doesn\u2019t \u201cfeel comfortable talking about it at the moment.\u201d<\/p>\n

Upon her album release, Allen said in a statement that \u201cthe record is a mixture of fact and fiction.\u201d When asked specifically about Madeline, who is also mentioned in her song \u201cTennis,\u201d Allen told The Times<\/a> that she\u2019s a \u201cfictional character\u201d and confirmed that she\u2019s a \u201cconstruct of others.\u201d<\/p>\n
