Element Ventures<\/a> today announced that Sam Andersen has joined the firm as an Investment Partner, strengthening its commitment to Utah\u2019s growing technology and venture ecosystem.<\/p>\n

Although the Element Ventures brand is new<\/a>, the team\u2014Jeff Danley, Jeff Burningham, Jamie Dunn, and Connor Sullivan\u2014has been investing in Utah since 2008 under the Peak name. Over the years, they have raised multiple venture funds and backed some of the state\u2019s most successful companies, including Divvy, Filevine, Podium, Owlet, Pestie, Pura, and many more.<\/p>\n

Based in Salt Lake City, Andersen will focus primarily on pre-seed and seed investments, while also maintaining the fund\u2019s flexibility to engage in later-stage or cross-sector opportunities.<\/p>\n
