Jessie went on to reveal she\u2019s since been busy organising new dates for her US tour.<\/p>\n
The singer got back on stage just weeks after her first operation to perform at the BBC Radio 2 In The Park concert in Essex, southeast England in July.<\/p>\n
Jessie took the chance to open up about her health crisis, telling the audience: \u201cSome of you may know, some of you may not know, but I had breast cancer surgery 11 weeks ago today.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd the last show I did, I had no idea what was gonna happen, and I\u2019m still very much in the recovery process …<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m just so grateful to be here, you have no idea how grateful I am to see so many of you singing along after all these years.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt truly feels like I\u2019m a little kid. Still doing what I love.\u201d<\/p>\n
Jessie also brought her 2-year-old son Sky on stage, telling fans: \u201cAnd another special thing that\u2019s happening today is that my son is seeing me sing on stage for the first time.\u201d<\/p>\n
She then performed new track Living My Best Life and said: \u201cWhat this song\u2019s about, I was diagnosed literally two weeks before this song was released, and everyone said, \u2018let\u2019s stop, let\u2019s just put everything on hold\u2019 and I said, \u2018that\u2019s not what life\u2019s about\u2019.<\/p>\n
\u201cLife is about standing in the storm but holding up your umbrella and just keep moving forward.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd music, I don\u2019t know about you guys, but for me, music is a healer. Music is the thing that keeps me wanting to wake up in the morning and just makes me excited about life.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd I\u2019m grateful that I can make music that can give other people something that they might need on a hard day or a good day.<\/p>\n
