Meet Jordi Sala Hernandez, a 12-year-old trials biking titan from Girona, Spain.<\/p>\n

He holds the record for the most car roofs traversed on a bicycle performing a wheelie in one minute!<\/p>\n

This means Jordi had to hop across 10 cars that were parked next to each other while balancing on the back wheel of his bike.<\/p>\n

He achieved a total of 27 jumps at the Circuito de Jarama racetrack in Madrid, Spain, on 18 December 2024.<\/p>\n

Do you want to know something crazy?<\/p>\n

Prior to the record attempt, Jordi had NEVER tried jumping across car roofs before!<\/p>\n

Instead, he practised by hopping between rocks on his bike.<\/p>\n

The brave biker told GWR: \u201cOnce you’ve mastered that, you can adapt it to any surface.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jordi had to contend with the cars moving slightly every time he landed on them.<\/p>\n

However, with his dad there to support him, he remained calm and successfully completed the challenge.<\/p>\n

Fun fact \u2013 this record had never been attempted before, making Jordi the first person to hold this GWR title!<\/p>\n

Which world record would you most like to try?<\/p>\n

To make his record-breaking experience even more exciting, Jordi attempted this challenge on our Spanish TV programme, La Noche De Los R\u00e9cords 2025.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cIt was truly a very good experience,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

So, how did Jordi get into biking?<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a child, I didn’t watch many cartoons, but what I did watch were my two role models, Danny MacAskill and Fabio Wibmer.\u201d<\/p>\n

MacAskill and Wibmer are both professional trials cyclists.<\/p>\n

Trials biking requires riders to complete short, timed courses involving steep hills and troublesome obstacles, such as steps, branches and rocks.<\/p>\n

During the trials, riders have to avoid placing their feet on the ground, as this can lead to points being deducted.<\/p>\n

Jordi asked for his first trials bike when he was 6 years old.<\/p>\n

And within just 2 years, he won his first World Championship!<\/p>\n

\u201cAs soon as I practised, I came up with some really cool tricks,\u201d\u00a0the youngster recalled.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s so impressive!<\/p>\n

So, what\u2019s next for the young world champion?<\/p>\n

\u201cThe truth is that\u00a0[I’m]\u00a0a bit unsure, since everyone tells me that in the world of cycling, especially the discipline of trials, there is no one who makes a living mainly on a bike,\u201d he explained. “So, for now, I plan to enjoy it and time will tell.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would really like to be a leading YouTuber specialised in my discipline, like Fabio Wibmer and Danny MacAskill.\u201d<\/p>\n

Since starting his YouTube channel, \u201cJordi Sala Biker\u201d, in 2020, he has already amassed 710,000 subscribers!<\/p>\n
