Another moment from the reality show that grabbed many eyeballs was when Amaal Mallik opened up about his struggling days, financial issues, and much more. He expressed that he didn\u2019t want to use his dad\u2019s name to be successful and has had many ups and downs in his career.Amaal shared, \u201cI remember the time when I managed to enter Ekta Kapoor\u2019s party. It\u2019s not that easy to make contacts in the industry, regardless of who you are, so I requested my friend, who\u2019s an assistant director, to help me get into the party. When I entered, everyone was in their own zone, and one of the senior writers held my shirt and asked me why I was at the party. I told him that I\u2019d come through a friend. He pulled me and told me that after one year, I would be doing the biggest song of my life and that he\u2019d meet me then. I still remember that push because I fell in slow motion.\u201dTalking about his struggling days as a musician, he said, \u201cI\u2019ve never used my father\u2019s name to get anywhere. I used to roam around with a keyboard and try to get work. One day, I met someone and sang four of my songs in the lift, and they asked me for my introduction. I told them how I\u2019m a musician and want to make songs. He told me that he didn\u2019t want romantic songs at the moment. Later, I remembered the melody of Sooraj Dooba Hai and sang that song. I also met the same writer from that party, who wrote it for me. I told my dad that I finally got a song in Ranbir Kapoor\u2019s movie, and he was happy.\u201dHe later shared, \u201cDuring that time, we had a loan of Rs 3.5\u20134 crore because of some reasons, and neither my uncle nor anyone else helped us. My grandfather was very serious and was admitted to the hospital, and because of that, we took loans. Armaan used to do voice-overs and earn Rs 15,000\u201320,000.
