Release plans elsewhere are still unconfirmed, but <a href=\"https:\/\/onepluscom.pxf.io\/c\/482924\/916678\/12532?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.oneplus.com%2Fuk%2Flaunch%2Foneplus-15\" rel=\"sponsored nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the company promises<\/a> that the phone\u2019s global launching will be \u201csoon.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1ymtmqpi _17nnmdy1 _17nnmdy0 _1xwtict1\">We\u2019ve known what the 15 would look like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/news\/787104\/oneplus-15-sand-storm-design-photos-colors-ceramic-fiberglass\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">since September<\/a>, when OnePlus also confirmed it would be powered by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/tech\/784997\/qualcomm-snapdragon-8-elite-gen-5\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5<\/a> and have a fast 165Hz refresh rate display \u2014 a jump from the 120Hz on last year\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/24336534\/oneplus-13-review-specs-screen-camera-battery\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">OnePlus 13<\/a>, though there are still few games that support those speeds.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1ymtmqpi _17nnmdy1 _17nnmdy0 _1xwtict1\">The large 7,300mAh battery is the other big draw, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/news\/785693\/xiaomi-17-pro-max-china-launch-specs-price-second-screen\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">latest<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/news\/800600\/oppo-find-x9-pro-launch-china-telephoto-extender\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">in a<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/news\/799808\/honor-magic-8-pro-launch-china-specs-release-date\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">trend<\/a> for 7,000mAh+ cells in Chinese flagships this year. Those big batteries are often <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/the-stepback-newsletter\/776517\/silicon-carbon-batteries-phones\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">exclusive to China<\/a> though, and it\u2019s not guaranteed that European and US models will get the same battery life.
