A popular Rotorua tourist spot is thought to have been significantly damaged after a blaze on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

Thirteen crews from around the area were called to Mitai M\u0101ori Village just before 10pm.<\/p>\n

Tankers were needed to bring in water and State Highway 5 was closed down for a time.<\/p>\n

Fire and Emergency said initial reports indicated the conference centre was fully involved in flames.<\/p>\n

The last of the firefighters left about 3am on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Nobody was hurt.<\/p>\n
