\n\tIn Taylor Swift<\/a>\u2018s reimagining of Shakespeare\u2019s Hamlet on \u201cThe Fate of Ophelia,\u201d<\/a> she takes a few creative liberties to craft a new narrative about soulmates and saviors. She uses one lyric to praise her lover for \u201cpulling me into the fire.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tNow, one of her enemies has done the same \u2014 only this batch of flames is more like being tossed into an incinerator than warming up by the fireplace. A new TikTok post from the White House sets \u201cThe Fate of Ophelia\u201d to a slideshow of images that show vocal Swift hater<\/a> Donald Trump<\/a> celebrating \u201cThe Fate of America.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe chorus of the record, where Swift sings, \u201cKeep it one hundred on the land, the sea, the sky,\u201d is set to photos of army troops pointing guns at a target, a missile blasting off of a ship, and a fighter jet cutting through the clouds. The following line, \u201cPledge allegiance to your hands, your team, your vibes,\u201d is set to an image of a flag, followed by Trump with J.D. Vance (the team), and a split of their wives, Melania and Usha (the vibes, apparently).<\/p>\n

\n\tThe real kicker comes when Swift sings \u201cDon\u2019t care where the hell you been\u201d over an image of the mugshot <\/a>Trump took at Atlanta\u2019s Fulton County Jail after he turned himself in on felony charges related to his efforts to overturn the 2020 election results. And that\u2019s only the nine-second mark of the 22-second video. The actual \u201cFate of America\u201d caption towards the end is set to an image of Trump scooping fries at McDonalds. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cOUR VIBES \ud83c\uddfa\ud83c\uddf8,\u201d the caption on the video reads. It has already racked up over 570,000 likes. <\/p>\n

\n\tRepresentatives for Swift did not immediately respond to Rolling Stone\u2018s request for comment. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe Life of a Showgirl song was a curious choice for the Trump administration given his long-running hatred <\/a>of Swift. Last September, he literally declared, \u201cI HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!,\u201d on Truth Social. This May, he followed up with, \u201cHas anyone noticed that, since I said \u2018I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,\u2019 she\u2019s no longer \u2018HOT?\u2019\u201d And if that wasn\u2019t enough, he used completely unrelated controversy surround Sydney Sweeney to fire off more anti-Swift remarks in August.<\/p>\n

Swift supported Joe Biden<\/a> against Trump in the 2020 election and backed Kamala Harris<\/a> in 2024.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn recent months, the White House has been slammed for their use of popular songs and viral trends in social media uploads.
