Photo \/ Michael Hickey, Getty Images North America, AFP<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<a class=\"ad__link\" data-test-ui=\"ad__link\" href=\"https:\/\/advertising.nzme.co.nz\/\" data-ad-env=\"both\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Advertise with NZME.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Dallas Cowboys defensive end Marshawn Kneeland has died at the age of 24, the NFL franchise has said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The second-year player\u2019s cause of death was not revealed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\n         Kneeland scored the first NFL touchdown of his career in a 27-17 loss to the Arizona Cardinals on Monday (local time) when he<br \/>\n         recovered a blocked punt in the end zone.\n        <\/p>\n<p class=\"ZzQnbEvs\" style=\"display:none\">The Cowboys said in a statement: \u201cIt is with extreme sadness that the Dallas Cowboys share that Marshawn Kneeland tragically passed away this morning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ZzQnbEvs\" style=\"display:none\">\u201cMarshawn was a beloved team-mate and member of our organisation.
