Grammy-nominated US country singer Jelly Roll has asked his Kiwi fans for forgiveness after cancelling his Auckland show just before he was due to perform this evening.<\/p>\n

The rapper was set to perform at Western Springs at 6pm.<\/p>\n

“Dear Auckland, I\u2019ve done everything I can, I just can\u2019t shake it,” the artist said on Instagram.<\/p>\n

“It breaks my heart, I\u2019ve probably missed 3 shows in the last decade. I pride myself on showing up no matter what. Just couldn\u2019t do it this time. <\/p>\n

“Please forgive me.”<\/p>\n

Live Nation confirmed the cancellation on Facebook minutes before he was due on stage.<\/p>\n

“We regret to announce the Jelly Roll Down Under 2025 Tour tonight at The Outer Fields at Western Springs in Auckland will no longer go ahead due to illness. <\/p>\n

“All ticket holders will receive an automatic full refund. For any further refund enquiries please contact your point of purchase.<\/p>\n

“We thank the fans for their understanding, and we look forward to welcoming Jelly Roll in future.”<\/p>\n

The Auckland show was the only New Zealand stop in Jelly Roll’s Down Under tour.<\/p>\n
