\n\tEXCLUSIVE: Emmy and Golden Globe winner Sandra Oh<\/a> is among lead voice cast for animated feature Fairyheart<\/a>, which Odin\u2019s Eye will be talking to buyers about at next week\u2019s American Film Market.<\/p>\n

\n\tInspired by Magda Szab\u00f3\u2019s popular 1965 Hungarian novel, T\u00fcnd\u00e9r Lala, Fairyheart\u00a0is \u201cthe story of Lala, the young prince of mythical Tundarra, who must save humanity from the wrath of the dark wizard Aterpater. Helping him along the way are his friend, Bea, a brave but lonely human girl, and Gigi, the magical capibara unicorn\u201d. <\/p>\n

\n\tAlso starring are voice vet Tara Strong (My Little Pony: The Movie) as Gigi, Emma Ho (The Expanse) as Bea, and Delia Chambers (Super Why\u2019s Comic Book Adventures) as Lala.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe film heralds from director and co-writer Anita Doron, writer of Oscar nominated 2017 animation The Breadwinner, and co-writer Attila Gigor.<\/p>\n

\n\tKilling Eve star Oh, whose prolific voice work has included Raya And The Last Dragon, Smurfs and American Dad!, will portray the character Iris.<\/p>\n

\n\tCurrently in production, the film is scheduled for completion early Q1, 2028. The co-production is between Mythberg Films (Hungary), Storyteller Pictures and Lakeside Animation (Canada), and Traumhaus Studios (Germany). Producers are Jozsef Berger, Krisztina Endrenyi for Mythberg, R\u00e9ka Temple for Cinemon, Paul Lenart for Storyteller, Iouri Stepanov and Courtney Wolfson for Lakeside and Michael Luda for Traumhaus.<\/p>\n

\n\tCasting is by Rene Veilleux of Verite Entertainment. Backers include Hungarian National Film Institute; Telefilm Canada, Ontario Creates; Mitteldeutsche Medienf\u00f6rderung; Creative Europe, Eurimages.<\/p>\n
