In a new interview with ELLE<\/a>, Jennifer Aniston opened up about her long career, reflecting on how much the Hollywood industry has changed since her \u201cFRIENDS<\/a>\u201d days. She told the magazine, \u201cThe best part about being a woman in Hollywood is that I\u2019m a working woman in Hollywood.\u201d Aniston gets to do what she loves, and she counts on it.<\/p>\n

The Golden Globe winner added, \u201cWe get to create projects that are making a difference and bring in female voices,\u201d emphasizing that it\u2019s \u201ca really wonderful thing that we get to do now that we\u2019re allowed a seat at the table.\u201d<\/p>\n

Moreover, Aniston acknowledged how far women have come and how much work still remains. She recalled, \u201cThere was a period where we were not allowed at that table,\u201d adding, \u201cIt was thought, \u2018How adorable that you think you could be a producer or run a production company.\u2019\u201d Aniston emphasized how men dominated the industry, \u201cand we still have a long way to go, but women in Hollywood make moves.\u201d<\/p>\n
