I don\u2019t appreciate it and I get paid for doing stuff like that, so if you\u2019re gonna do it without me, you\u2019re robbing me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe Now You See Me: Now You Don\u2019t star claims, \u201cmy lawyers have been very, very busy,\u201d to remove AI being used without his knowledge, and added that there\u2019s been \u201cquite a few\u201d cases his lawyers have found.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tAnd this wasn\u2019t the first time the Oscar winner has been vocal about the issue. In June 2024, he <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/business\/digital\/morgan-freeman-criticizes-scam-ai-voice-1235935700\/\">took to X<\/a> to share his appreciation for fans noticing that AI-generated imitations of his voice had been created. \u201cThank you to my incredible fans for your vigilance and support in calling out the unauthorized use of an A.I. voice imitating me,\u201d Freeman\u00a0wrote. \u201cYour dedication helps authenticity and integrity remain paramount. Grateful.\u201d He also used hashtags \u201cscam\u201d and \u201cIdentityProtection.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tAI has been a hot topic in Hollywood as of late, with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/movies\/movie-news\/sag-aftra-slams-ai-actress-tilly-norwood-xicoia-union-1236388942\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/movies\/movie-news\/sag-aftra-slams-ai-actress-tilly-norwood-xicoia-union-1236388942\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">SAG-AFTRA addressing<\/a> the creation of a computer-generated actress, Tilly Norwood, in September.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t\u201cTo be clear, \u2018Tilly Norwood\u2019 is not an actor, it\u2019s a character generated by a computer program that was trained on the work of countless professional performers \u2014 without permission or compensation,\u201d said SAG-AFTRA. \u201cIt has no life experience to draw from, no emotion and, from what we\u2019ve seen, audiences aren\u2019t interested in watching computer-generated content untethered from the human experience. It doesn\u2019t solve any \u2018problem\u2019 \u2014 it creates the problem of using stolen performances to put actors out of work, jeopardizing performer livelihoods and devaluing human artistry.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Morgan Freeman is speaking out again on AI.
