Kim Kardashian was praying for a miracle.<\/p>\n

After the Skims founder, 45, revealed on the Thursday, November 13, episode of The Kardashians that she was unable to obtain the Bible<\/a> late father Robert Kardashian Sr. signed and gave to O.J. Simpson, the executor of the football star\u2019s estate is speaking out.<\/p>\n

\u201cI like how she\u2019s trying to frame the story as I\u2019m trying to keep it from her,\u201d executor Malcolm LaVergne told TMZ<\/a> in a story published Friday, November 14.<\/p>\n

He then took a swipe at the mom of four<\/a>, who recently revealed that she failed the bar exam to practice law.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo wonder she can\u2019t pass the bar,\u201d LaVergne said. \u201cBy the way, I\u2019ve passed three. First time each. New York, Texas and Nevada. I will give her credit for being richer than me. No denying that.\u201d<\/p>\n

LaVergne told TMZ that the estate of the late NFL star<\/a> \u2014 who was represented by Robert in the 1995 murder trial<\/a> for the deaths of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman \u2014 was under legal obligation to auction off the Bible and couldn\u2019t sell to private vendors.<\/p>\n

On the recent episode of Hulu\u2019s The Kardashians, Kim said she wanted to get the Bible \u2014 which was being auctioned off<\/a> by Goldin Auctions \u2014 to give to sister Khlo\u00e9 Kardashian.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo there is a bible that my dad gave O.J. after the murders happened, but before he went into prison, and he brought it to prison with him,\u201d Kim shared in her confessional.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s just really special, you know, Khlo\u00e9 saw it on the internet and then sent it to me and was like, \u2018Oh my god, this bible is going for auction, we have to get it,\u2019\u201d she continued. \u201cSo I was like, \u2018Oh, I have to get this for her for her birthday.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI offered $15,000<\/a> for the bible, but that wasn\u2019t high enough for him,\u201d Kim noted.<\/p>\n

At the end of the episode, text came up on the screen that read: \u201cThe executor to O.J. Simpson\u2019s estate<\/a> told TMZ he could not sell the bible to Kim because he already contractually agreed to auction it under court order.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Goldin Auctions\u2019 website, the winning bid was placed in March for $65,800 ($80,276 with its buyer\u2019s premium). The buyer\u2019s identity remains anonymous.<\/p>\n
