OpenAI, which recently established a for-profit arm valued at $500 billion<\/a>, is constructing a flagship AI data center in Abilene, Texas, slated to open in 2026. The data center is one of multiple the company plans to launch as part of a larger project that will establish more infrastructure in Ohio and New Mexico.
