Russell Crowe is denying any wedding plans with long-term galpal Britney Theriot, say insiders, leaving the blond beauty utterly crushed by his brutal attitude \u2014 as hurtful rumors swirl he\u2019s still carrying a torch for his ex-wife!<\/p>\n

The 61-year-old Gladiator swordsman has been with the 42-year-old actress for the past five years and was widely expected to soon waltz her down the aisle.<\/p>\n

But he shocked fans \u2014 and devastated Britney \u2014 by publicly confiding to podcast host Joe Rogan that marriage isn\u2019t in his future.<\/p>\n

The Oscar winner then quipped: \u201cMy life is joyous and happy. Why ruin that with a wedding?\u201d<\/p>\n

Sources tell Globe the news walloped Britney, who\u2019s been hoping for a ring since she started dating the burly big-screen he-man following his divorce from Danielle Spencer, 56, mom of their sons, Charles, 21, and Tennyson, 19.<\/p>\n

Her beau has upped her anxiety by keeping incredibly close to former flame Danielle \u2014 who he separated from in 2012 and divorced in 2018.<\/p>\n

In fact, Russell has invited his ex to appear on stage for an upcoming show just before Christmas in their native Australia, per New Idea<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cBritney was shocked,\u201d says the insider. \u201cIt doesn\u2019t line up at all with what Russell has been telling her \u2014 so it\u2019s pretty upsetting.\u201d<\/p>\n
