Alan Bersten<\/a> couldn\u2019t be more proud of Dancing With the Stars<\/a> partner Elaine Hendrix<\/a> as the pair head into the season 34 finale.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just felt like Elaine finally got deserving scores,\u201d Bersten, 31, told Us Weekly exclusively after the Prince Night performances<\/a> on Tuesday, November 18. \u201cNot that it\u2019s not about the previous weeks, but she worked so hard this week and she truly deserved that perfect score. That hustle is incredible. She didn\u2019t miss a step, she attacked it. Just so much conviction and I\u2019m so proud of her. I\u2019m so happy.\u201d<\/p>\n

For the semi-final episode, the remaining six couples each performed two dances. Bersten and Hendrix, 54, earned all nines for their foxtrot, with Carrie Ann Inaba telling the actress to push herself even further in the next round.<\/p>\n

Hendrix did just that as she and Bersten received a perfect score \u2014 their first of the season<\/a> \u2014 for their paso doble. (Inaba was so impressed by the routine that she fell to the floor in dramatic fashion.)<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tElaine Hendrix\u2018s absence from the Dancing With the Stars ballroom was felt on Halloween Night after she was rushed to the hospital. While introducing the remaining couples at the top of the Tuesday, October 28, episode, cohost Alfonso Ribeiro pointed out that Hendrix, 54, and pro Alan Bersten were missing from the lineup. Ribeiro, 54, [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n

When asked how she was feeling after hearing the judges\u2019 glowing feedback, Hendrix told cohost Julianne Hough, \u201cLike I freaking fought for it!\u201d<\/p>\n

While speaking with Us, the Parent Trap star gushed over having Bersten\u2019s support throughout the season.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s such a part of this,\u201d she explained. \u201cI came into this saying that I was going to give it everything that I had, and this one right here [Alan] is so responsible for making me see what I can do and do what I can do way beyond what I have envisioned for myself. So for me, this was just giving it my all, pouring my heart and soul into it, doing what we planned and then the rest got to let go.\u201d<\/p>\n

As they prepare for the supersized finale \u2014 each pair will perform three dances on November 25 \u2014 Hendrix and Bersten are staying positive.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe made it this far. \u2026 We\u2019re just going to keep doing what we do. We can\u2019t control anything,\u201d Hendrix told Us.<\/p>\n

Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas were eliminated on Tuesday night, leaving Hendrix and Bersten going head to head with Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy, Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa, Robert Irwin and Witney Carson and Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach in the finals.<\/p>\n

Bersten noted that the most important thing is to \u201cjust have fun\u201d despite the tough competition. \u201cEnjoy the dancing. Because no matter what \u2014 and as sad as it is to say \u2014 it\u2019s our last time we get a dance on the floor together, so we might as well just enjoy it,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tDancing With the Stars alum Ilona Maher is still cheering for her former partner, Alan Bersten, as he takes on the competition with Elaine Hendrix on season 34. \u201cWe FaceTimed a little bit last week,\u201d Bersten, 31, exclusively told Us Weekly following their performance on the Tuesday, September 23, episode of the ABC hit. \u201cShe\u2019s [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n

The duo have faced plenty of challenges throughout the season, including Hendrix\u2019s injury<\/a> during Halloween Week. Despite the setback, Hendrix bounced back strong<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere was nothing permanent and no real serious damage [to my ribs], so now, it\u2019s just about managing the pain, and that we can do,\u201d Hendrix told TV Insider<\/a> earlier this month. \u201cIt\u2019s dancing through the pain with an eye on the prize!\u201d<\/p>\n

After missing one live performance, Hendrix put all her focus into \u201chealing\u201d her body. \u201cThe ironic thing is that I feel so strong. I certainly feel stronger now than I did at the beginning of the season,\u201d she added. \u201c[The injury] was more like, \u2018Oh, this is a bummer. This is weird.\u2019 Now, I\u2019m focusing on the strength that I\u2019m feeling.\u201d<\/p>\n
