Reacher season four is one step closer to hitting our screens as production has just shared an exciting update on the new instalment.<\/p>\n

The Alan Ritchson<\/a>-starring series is set to tackle author Lee Child’s 13th Reacher novel, titled Gone Tomorrow. The book once again follows the resourceful Jack Reacher (Ritchson) as he unravels a conspiracy that starts with a potential suicide bomber on the New York City subway.<\/p>\n

However, the show has moved the action to Philadelphia, which is now the main setting of Gone Tomorrow. <\/p>\n

While a release date for the new season has yet to be announced, it seems we won’t have too long to wait as production on chapter four has officially wrapped.<\/p>\n

A production team member shared that production on season four had finished by posting a celebratory message on Instagram<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“Looks like Reacher Season 4 has officially wrapped! It’s been a long run. Great work to all the cast and crew. Thank you so much Alan\u2026,” they wrote.<\/p>\n

Ritchson previously confirmed that production on season four would wrap soon, which means we’re likely looking at a 2026 release.<\/p>\n

“One week left. Again, like I was saying, it’s a journey,” he told Collider<\/a> in an interview published last week.<\/p>\n

“I feel like the way the presidents come out of the White House looking grey and old, that’s how I feel each year doing Reacher. I feel like 10 lifetimes have been lived. So for me to be a week away, it’s like I see the light at the end of the tunnel.”<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, Reacher confirmed a shake-up in its cast when star Jay Baruchel was replaced.<\/p>\n

The How to Train Your Dragon voice star, also known for his role in BlackBerry, reportedly exited the project due to a personal matter. His role, small-town police officer Jay Merrick, has been recast and is now played by Christopher Rodriguez-Marquette<\/a>.<\/p>\n
