Bill Maher faced criticism online after he joked it was \u201cMuslim week at the White House\u201d following visits by Saudi Arabia\u2019s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman\u00a0and New York City\u2019s Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani. <\/p>\n

Maher made the quip during Friday\u2019s episode of \u201cReal Time With Bill Maher,\u201d where he roasted Trump\u2019s \u201cbromance\u201d with MBS and called out the prince for \u201cOJ-ing\u201d reporter Jamal Khashoggi. The comedian also weighed in on Mamdani\u2019s chummy visit with Trump, who he imitated when he joked: \u201cI don\u2019t understand Islam. Why wait for the afterlife to enjoy the 72 virgins? That\u2019s what Jeffrey Epsteins are for on Earth.\u201d<\/p>\n

These jokes didn\u2019t necessarily land online, with several fans speaking out against the rhetoric on X. \u201cI can see why you\u2019re not touring anymore, my man,\u201d one user responded Friday evening.<\/p>\n

A second wrote, \u201cWhen did Bill Maher become such an insufferable dbag? Listening to him talk about Democratic Socialism and Muslim people hurts my intelligence.\u201d A third chimed in with, \u201cYou continue your streak of unfunny.\u201d<\/p>\n

In fact, one user curtly responded with a simple, \u201cGo f\u2013k yourself.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, not everyone was offended by Maher\u2019s monologue, as several fans dropped the cry-laughing emoji beneath the episode highlight. One fan even wrote, \u201cI\u2019m not gonna lie Bill Maher is pretty funny. You have to watch this.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another added, \u201cOk that was funny Bill.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cMuslim Week\u201d joke also appeared to land flat with Maher\u2019s in-studio audience, as it prompted an awkward round of laughter.<\/p>\n

Of course, Maher addressed several other topics during his monologue, including a dig at Trump for his \u201cQuiet, Piggy\u201d remark to a female reporter.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, Trump is very touchy about the Epstein thing. Since a reporter asked him, did you see this \u2026 I think it was on Air Force One, brought up that issue and Trump said to her \u2014 it\u2019s a woman reporter \u2014 \u2018Quiet, Piggy,\u2019\u201d Maher said. \u201cAnd then, listen to this, at the press conference the next day, his press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, spun this by saying, \u2018It\u2019s actually admirable. It\u2019s the president being frank and open and honest. That\u2019s good.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Maher added: \u201cWell, in that case, shut up, bitch.\u201d<\/p>\n
