The Tonight Show<\/a> is quick break before Thanksgiving.\n<\/p>\n

NBC announced that its premiere talk show hosted by Jimmy Fallon<\/a> will air a rerun on Monday. On Nov. 24, the show will re-air the episode with Rosalia and DJ Khaled that originally premiered on Nov. 16.\n<\/p>\n

However, The Tonight Show will return with its next new episode on Tuesday, Nov. 25. Tim Allen<\/a>, who currently stars on ABC’s sitcom Shifting Gears, will guest on the show, as well as Riverdale star Lili Reinhart, who recently starred in the Mubi series Hal & Harper and the thriller movie American Sweatshop. Comedian Dusty Slay will also appear on Tuesday’s episode.\n<\/p>\n

Wednesday’s episode of The Tonight Show will also be an all-new ep. Denis Leary, who stars in the upcoming Christmas comedy Oh. What. Fun alongside Michelle Pfeiffer, will chat with Fallon as a guest, as will Zoey Deutch, who starred in three films this year: Nouvelle Vague, Anniversary, and The Threesome. AVTT\/PTTN, the band uniting the Avett Brothers and Mike Patton, will perform as musical guests.\n<\/p>\n

Ed Sheeran, who recently released his eighth studio album Play, will join Fallon for his Thanksgiving episode. Joe Keery, who released the album The Crux under his Djo moniker and stars in the forthcoming fifth season of Stranger Things, will also appear as a guest, as will Adolescence director Philip Barantini. Brad Paisley will serve as the musical guest.\n<\/p>\n

As is the norm for Fallon’s Fridays, the Nov. 28 episode will be a rerun, this time re-broadcasting the Nov. 18 ep featuring Wicked star Ariana Grande, I Love LA actor Josh Hutcherson, and musical guest Snocaps.\n<\/p>\n

The Tonight Show and NBC’s later talk show Late Night With Seth Meyers were the only network talk shows unaffected by 2025’s tumultuous late night shakeup. In July, CBS announced that The Late Show With Stephen Colbert would conclude its run in May 2026.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n

On Sept. 17, ABC abruptly suspended Jimmy Kimmel Live following pressure from FCC Chairman Brendan Carr and affiliate groups protesting Jimmy Kimmel’s remarks about Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin. The show returned with a new episode six days later on Sept. 23.\n<\/p>\n

Fallon explained his view toward political humor in an interview with CNBC’s Squawk on the Street shortly after Kimmel’s suspension. “Our show has never really been that political. We hit both sides equally, and we try to make everybody laugh, and that’s really the way our show works,” Fallon said. “Our monologues are kind of the same that we’ve been doing since Johnny Carson was hosting The Tonight Show. So really, I just keep my head down and make sure the jokes are funny.”\n<\/p>\n
